Molecular Tumour Boards (MTBs)

In this video Christophe Le Tourneau and C. Benedikt Westphalen discuss the importance of having standardised MTB practices in oncology, the key initiatives that addressed the lack of standardised recommendations for MTBs in Europe, domains covered by the recommendations, potential quality indicators to assess the performance of MTBs in clinical practice, how to facilitate structured implementations of the MTB recommendations and they tackled some flexibility in adapting the MTB recommendations according to local resources, legislation and centre volume.
